Regarded as one of Asia’s main destinations, Hong Kong is a cosmopolitan, densely populated place with the largest number of skyscrapers in the world! Plan your trip to Hong Kong

Hong Kong is a special administrative region of China, and Macau is nearby, and is located on the southern coast of China. For more than 150 years the city has been under British rule and today lives on the principle of “one country, two systems.” Which means that the place has its own laws. More than 90% of the population comes from China and although this is a very dense place, about 40% of its territory is dedicated to parks and nature reserves. This is a place that many people call “Chinese capitalists”, with many shopping centers, excellent shopping opportunities, modern transportation and interesting casinos. But if you want to gamble, we recommend onlinecasinodeutschland.com.de. It’s cheaper!

Language: The official language of HK is Chinese (Cantonese) and English. Because most of the population comes from China, it is also Chinese that is spoken mostly in the city. In general, locals do not speak English fluently, but they can speak the basics in English.

Currency: Hong Kong dollars are local currency and you must be prepared to make a purchase. Hong Kong is a place with high living costs, so prepare your bags! Simple food can be more expensive than expected.

Definition of Hong Kong: The Hong Kong region is formed by the Hong Kong island itself, the Kowloon peninsula, Lantau (where the airport is located), the New Territory and several other islands. The most developed part of the region is in Hong Kong and Kowloon – these two places are separated by Victoria Harbor, where they pass hundreds of ships every day.

8 tips on what to see and do in Hong Kong:

1 – Admire the view of Victoria Peak (The Peak) – it is one of the city’s main attractions and offers beautiful views both during the day and at night when hundreds of buildings in Hong Kong are illuminated. Live postcards to track!

2 – Cross the bay on the Star Ferry, a fairly traditional means of transportation.

3 – Visit the Giant Buddha via the Ngong Ping 360 cable car and observe the beautiful mountain region of Hong Kong. On this same tour, don’t miss Po Lin Monastery, which is known to have rooms with 10,000 Buddha statues.

4 – Spend the day in Kowloon and visit tourist attractions such as the Flower Market, Ladie Market, Clock Tower, Avenue of Stars and Nathan Road, a great way to shop. In Kowloon it is located Mong Kok, which is one of the most populated areas in the world!

5 – Go to Sky 100, an observatory in the biggest building in town!

6 – Take a walk and shop in Causeway Bay, an area full of shopping centers and department stores.

7- Visit Man Mo Temple, a small temple but it draws attention through a very large spiral incense.

8 – Attend Symphony of Lights, a light and music show featuring Hong Kong’s top buildings! One of the best places to watch it is near the Clock Tower in Kowloon.
