Wedding: How To Fit in Your Budget Frame

September 14, 2018 / by Violet & Anna / Leave a Comment

Contrary to popular belief you don’t have to pillage your bank account in order to host your ideal wedding. To discover a few handy wedding budgeting tips, simply continue reading.

Wedding: How to fit in your budget frame?

  1. Consider purchasing a wedding dress that has been heavily marked down in price

If you’d love to look like royalty on your special day but don’t want to pay a king’s ransom for the perfect dress, it’s well worth looking into online betting sites to obtain some extra funds also asking your bridal shop consultant to show you any gowns that have been recently marked down in price. As in some cases, you may be able to pick up a designer gown for a fraction of the original retail price.

  1. Opt for a preloved wedding dress

If you don’t want to spend a small fortune on a wedding dress that you’ll only wear once in your lifetime, it’s also worth considering purchasing a pre-loved wedding dress. That you’ll be able to pick up for half the price of a brand new wedding dress. In most cases, preloved wedding dresses will have only been worn once and will be in excellent condition.

  1. Get creative when it comes to selecting a wedding venue

If you have a strict budget for your wedding, you may want to forgo booking a ballroom at a fancy hotel in favor or hosting your wedding in a more affordable location. As an example, one of your friends or family members may own a large estate which has a spacious garden which could host your wedding celebrations.

Or you may have a friend who owns a restaurant, who’ll be able to host your wedding reception at a heavily reduced rate.

  1. Make your own wedding decorations and favors

Instead of paying for an expensive wedding planner to hire or purchase your wedding decorations and party favors for you, enlist the help of your close friends and family members to help you make your own wedding decorations and favors. As an example, why not try and recreate a lovely bouquet of flowers which you saved on Pinterest or cut out of a wedding magazine?

  1. Plan an intimate, warm gathering instead of a huge soiree

While both of your parents may love to see you tie the knot in front of hundreds of friends and family members, if you plan to stick to your wedding budget, you will be better off being selective when it comes to drafting up your guest line.

Don’t feel pressured to invite acquaintances and extended family members who you only see once in a blue moon to your wedding. As your catering bill will skyrocket if you invite over 200 individuals to your big day.

  1. Get a friend or family member to bake your wedding cake for

If you don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on an overpriced wedding cake, it’s well worth asking a friend or family member who is a talented baker, to bake your cake for. As an advantage, your wedding cake will mean so much more to you and your future bride or groom if it was baked by a loved one.

So if you’d love to host a memorable, special wedding without breaking the bank, it’s well worth following the advice listed above. As a bonus, you may be able to save more money for your upcoming honeymoon.
